THIS NOTICE FROM THE BRITISH EMBASSY IN SOFIA REGARDING THE CENSUS THAT IS DUE
TO TAKE PLACE IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY
"Dear Ms Penny
Thank you for taking
interest in our information about the Census campaign.
We were informed by
the National Statistical Institute that foreign nationals cannot complete the
online form, because they dont have EGN (Personal Identification Number).
Therefore, the option we suggest to British citizens is to print the English
version of the form (please find attached) and to complete it prior to the
interviewers coming to their place and hand it to them when they come. If you
wish to assist your clients, you can print the English version of the census
form and give it to them to complete. You can also print our advice on the
website for information: http://ukinbulgaria.fco.gov.uk/en/help-for-british-nationals/living-in-bulgaria/Census_2011_Bulgaria.
Well ask the helpline services when they will provide English speakers."
